Protein Fluff 5 Ways

This dessert is one of my go to favorites! If you haven’t tried it, protein fluff is like a cross between cool whip & ice cream texture wise & the “fluff” base is so low calorie you can have fun adding toppings.

If you’re in a calorie deficit/dieting & find yourself STARVING at the end of the night you simply MUST give Protein Fluff a try!

I’ve been eating some variations of protein fluff since before Christmas 2019 (currently 8/2020).

The first time I tried making protein fluff/protein ice cream… it was so awful I THREW IT AWAY!

I have perfected the recipe in multiple flavors and I am so happy to share them with you! 

You need a good WHEY/CASEIN BLEND protein for optimal fluffing.

Seriously, this is where protein quality matters.

IF you don’t have a whey/casein blend you can attempt fluff, but you will need to add 1-2g xanthan gum (find it in the baking aisle OR on Amazon).

My favorite type of protein powder to use is PE Science. I’m not affiliated with them (yet), but I’ve been using their protein powder for years & haven’t found anything comparable!

I also would recommend not letting it blend for too long. The more it blends the more air is put into the fluff & too much can cause some really uncomfortable bloating!

This recipe is really forgiving too, you can always adjust the ratios of ice/almond milk etc.
