Beef, Bloobs, & Brown Sugar Cinnamon Cream of Rice

I know, I know.

This is THE weirdest thing I’ve ever created.

(Certainly not the weirdest thing I’ve eaten by far. Maybe chicken hearts or escargot take the cake there)

BUT I’m still shocked that this is actually good, amazing even.

If you can get past the idea of putting beef AND blueberries together, I promise you this recipe will not disappoint.

Plus think of all the fiber and antioxidants you’re getting from the blueberries!

I can’t take all the credit for this insane combo, my teammate Liz eats it all the time and I was just so weirded out but curious at the same time I had to try it. And what do you know, it’s actually good!

If you give it a try I want a full report.

It’s so good I meal prepped it for a whole week & I just had it this week again too!

💙𝗕𝗲𝗲𝗳 + 𝗕𝗹𝗼𝗼𝗯𝘀 + 𝗕𝗿𝗼𝘄𝗻 𝗦𝘂𝗴𝗮𝗿 𝗖𝗶𝗻𝗻𝗮𝗺𝗼𝗻 𝗖𝗿𝗲𝗮𝗺 𝗼𝗳 𝗥𝗶𝗰𝗲💙⁣ ⁣ If your mouth is hanging open or you’re grossed out, it’s okay. I was too the first time I saw it on my teammate @lizkfit ’s story! She makes hers a different way, but I was so… weirded out I had to try it! And then @kelseyjfit made it too so I knew there was something to it!⁣ ⁣ I seasoned the beef like a breakfast sausage. Tbh if you have the fat in your macros you could use sausage or turkey sausage too with this! ⁣ ⁣ Honestly it reminds me of like a McDonald’s McGriddle… not that I’ve ever had one lol. Pancake syrup on top is KEY guys! ⁣😋 ⁣ This would also probably be amazing paired with oats too!⁣ ⁣ 🔸𝗠𝗮𝗰𝗿𝗼𝘀: 255 cals (20.5P/3.4F/33.9C)⁣ ⁣ 🔸𝗜𝗻𝗴𝗿𝗲𝗱𝗶𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘀 :⁣ —34g+ @thepridefoods Brown Sugar Cinnamon Cream of Rice (discount code incoming lol) ⁣ —3 oz 96/4 beef, weighed raw⁣ —50g frozen wild blueberries (or use fresh) ⁣ —Walden Farm’s Pancake Syrup⁣ ⁣ Seasoning: ⁣ —cinnamon⁣ —onion powder⁣ —garlic powder⁣ —paprika⁣ —sea salt ⁣ —just a bit of both cayenne pepper & red pepper flakes⁣ ⁣ (I’m sorry I didn’t measure. Aim for 2-3 dashes of everything, but then just one dash of cayenne & red pepper)⁣ ⁣ 👩🏼‍🍳𝗜𝗻𝘀𝘁𝗿𝘂𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀:⁣ 1. Season the beef (yes with cinnamon too) & cook in a sprayed pan.⁣ 2. Once the meat has browned, add your blueberries & a dash of pancake syrup ⁣ 3. Let it simmer while you prep the COR!⁣ 4. Prep COR according to package directions. I did the microwave to save time. I added a dash of extra cinnamon too. ⁣ 5. Stir COR & then top with the beef & bloobs. ⁣ 6. Sprinkle extra cinnamon on top & then add more pancake syrup!⁣ 7. Weird out everyone around you 😂⁣ ⁣ Would you try this? Or is this a step too far? ⁣🤔 ⁣ 💁🏼‍♀️Also someone asked me “why blueberries?” And idk I don’t have an answer for you. Seeing the combo intrigued me! Blueberries also add fiber & lots of antioxidants. Lately I’ve been super interested in trying to optimize my nutrition so this is a win win!⁣
