Cheesy BBQ Chicken Crunch Wrap

Anyone else like prepping protein in bulk? I’ve been ending up with a TON of shredded chicken on hand lately, especially since chicken seems to be the most reliable, fresh protein I can find in stores.

Actually, now that I think about it I don’t think my groceries ever sold out of fish during the pandemic…

Whatever.

ANYWAYS, this crunch wrap will have you using up that leftover shredded chicken!

You need a velveeta cheese slice (or any cheese slice really, but I use velveeta because surprisingly, it IS a low fat cheese & it melts WAY better than other low fat cheeses)

You also need some G Hughes BBQ Sauce. Any flavor works, I like the Sweet & Spicy, but this is the lowest calorie/carb BBQ sauce I’ve ever found. You can find it in the grocery or buy it on Amazon.

Iโ€™ve been tossing it in the Instant pot & making shredded chicken so this is a crunch wrap Iโ€™ve made a half dozen times over the last few weeks that uses up that pre-made shredded chicken! โฃ โฃ (Seriously, each one of these pictures is a different day & a different wrap with this same recipe!)โฃ โฃ ๐Ÿ”ธ๐— ๐—ฎ๐—ฐ๐—ฟ๐—ผ๐˜€: 236 cals (29.3P/3F/19.5C)โฃ โฃ ๐Ÿ”ธ๐—œ๐—ป๐—ด๐—ฟ๐—ฒ๐—ฑ๐—ถ๐—ฒ๐—ป๐˜๐˜€ :โฃ โ€”1 wrap, I use @cutdacarbโฃ โ€”1 Velveeta Cheese SLICE (or any sliced cheese but macros are for velveeta)โฃ โ€”70g cooked, shredded chicken breastโฃ โ€”40g @ghughessugarfree BBQ sauce (I use sweet & spicy!)โฃ โ€”30g spinachโฃ โ€”salt, onion powderโฃ โฃ ๐Ÿ‘ฉ๐Ÿผโ€๐Ÿณ๐—œ๐—ป๐˜€๐˜๐—ฟ๐˜‚๐—ฐ๐˜๐—ถ๐—ผ๐—ป๐˜€:โฃ 1. Re-heat your shredded chicken if needed, then stir in the bbq sauce to coat the chickenโฃ 2. Lay out your @cutdacarb wrap & place the velveeta cheese slice in the middleโฃ 3. Then plop the bbq chicken mixture on top of the cheese (keep the circle narrow!)โฃ 4. Pile your spinach on top (it will be a tall, precarious tower of spinach) โฃ 5. Add a crack of salt & a dash of onion powderโฃ 6. Carefully wrap it up (I have a video on a highlight of me wrapping up a crunch wrap!)โฃ 7. Spray with cooking spray, then either air fry or place seam side down on a HOT pan, flipping after a few minutes โฃ 8. Cut in half & serve with a side of veggies/air fried potato chips/ or my current fave: BUTTERNUT SQUASH sautรฉed in a pan with garlic parm seasoning!โฃ โฃ You can find this @ghughessugarfree BBQ sauce at the grocery story next to the other BBQ sauces! You wonโ€™t find a BBQ sauce with better macros than this (because you know Iโ€™ve looked!) their entire line of products is amazing for anyone counting macros or looking for a few easy swaps!
